President

Maurice M. Ohayon, MD, DSc, PhD

Maurice M. Ohayon is President of the Sleep Epidemiology Foundation, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, and Director of the Stanford Sleep Epidemiology Research Center (SSERC).

His work combines population-based epidemiology, longitudinal studies and clinical phenotyping to investigate sleep disorders and their psychiatric, neurologic and medical context. He developed Ad-Infer and the Sleep-EVAL knowledge base and is Editor-in-Chief of Sleep Epidemiology, published by Elsevier.

His contribution to the field includes international research, scientific symposia, research training and editorial activity.
